Finding your voice - Sixty Minutes 1-2pm
15th July
Everyone has the right to be heard. Sometimes we lack the confidence to speak up, or something in the way we use our voice prevents us from being listened to and having the effect we want when we speak. People constantly make judgements about us, based not only on what we say but also on how we sound.
How, then, can your voice be an instrument that accurately expresses who you are and makes the impact you want?
This session is about getting practical help in developing and improving your vocal confidence, whether you want to have more impact in meetings, to convey gravitas, warmth or passion, or to gain confidence in speaking up in group situations.
- Gaining control of your voice and making greater vocal impact
- Getting heard (e.g. in meetings)
- Finding your authentic voice
- Developing confidence in speaking up
- Speaking assertively
Coaching
Again at the end of this session you can book a free one-hour coaching session from 2:15 to 3:15. Your concerns may be having difficulty in asserting your point of view, speaking up at meetings or developing confidence.
Employee Engagement - Sixty Minutes 1-2pm
12th August
In today's climate of cost cutting and head-count reduction, many people are fearful for their jobs, yet are expected to do more with fewer resources. Wise leaders and managers don't rely simply on the fear of redundancy to get the best from their teams. You can get eighty per cent from your people simply by paying them, but the real gold lies in the other twenty per cent - the discretionary effort - the full energy and commitment that employees can choose either to bring to their work or to withhold.
In this session we will explore practical ways to inspire and motivate people to being their whole selves to work and to engage fully, with drive and creativity, in ways that dramatically improve their effectiveness.
Coaching
And at the end of this Sixty Minutes you can book a free one-hour coaching session from 2:15 to 3:15. You may have a disengaged colleague, be struggling to maintain morale during this economic climate, or have problems staying engaged yourself.
