Michael Maynard
Having gained a degree in Sociology, Michael became a professional actor, writer and presenter for nearly 20 years, working in theatre, Radio and TV. He started Maynard Leigh Associates in 1989 with his fellow director Andrew Leigh and a team of talented consultants.
Michael now runs business and management courses internationally, specialising in leadership and creativity, teams and communication skills.
He has worked with thousands of people at all levels of management, to improve their personal effectiveness and communication skills, including senior executives from companies such as: Barclays, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Lloyds TSB, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, London Stock Exchange, SES, T-Mobile, DHL and Campbells.
Together with Andrew Leigh he has written several books: Leading Your Team (Nicholas Brealey Publications) ACE Teams - Creating Star Performance In Business (Butterworth Heinemann) and three in the Perfect Management Series on Presentation, Communication and Leadership (Arrow Books).
Michael regularly presents conferences all over the world, on Teams, Leadership, Creativity and Innovation, Unlocking Potential, Communication and Sales Motivation. The positive feedback they receive often highlight the enjoyment and engagement of the audiences and the fact that they leave feeling inspired.
